Every inspection we perform follows the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) Standards of Practice. These standards define the minimum requirements for a thorough, professional home inspection and are recognized across all 50 states.
The InterNACHI SOP requires inspection of all major systems and components that are readily accessible and visible, including structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, exterior, and interior systems. It also clearly defines what is outside the scope of a standard inspection.
We are also members of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), the oldest and most established professional organization for home inspectors in North America.
The ASHI Standards of Practice complement InterNACHI's standards and provide additional guidelines for professional conduct, reporting, and inspection methodology. Together, these two sets of standards ensure you receive the most thorough inspection possible.
